Terri is an active relationship builder, leader and strategist with organizations such as the Canadian Trails Federation (Director), Ontario Trails Council (President), Hike Ontario (Past President) and Credit Valley Conservation (Sr, Manager, Property, Assets, Recreation and Conservation Area Services).
An advocate for environmentally sustainable trail use, Terri is the co-author of three publications, Best Practices for Increasing Walking and Hiking on Ontario’s Trails; the Hike Ontario Young Hiker’s Program and the Credit Valley Trail Strategy.
In her role with Credit Valley Conservation, she is the project lead of the Credit Valley Trail, a continuous 100-kilometre pathway through the Credit River Valley – from the Hills of the Headwaters in Orangeville to Lake Ontario in Port Credit designed to connect people to the beauty of nature, rich cultural experiences, Indigenous heritage and values, and the sacred, sustaining waters of the Credit River.
Prior to conservation land management and fundraising, Terri worked as a Provincial Park Warden, Fisheries Officer and as a member of the Emergency Response Team for five years in Ontario’s Provincial Parks (Presqu’ile and Algonquin).
